Helga M. Carson

Helga Carson, now retired, previously served as Of Counsel to the firm. She practiced immigration and nationality law exclusively for over 30 years, primarily as founder and principal of two prominent Silicon Valley business- and employment-based immigration firms, where she partnered with numerous companies throughout the U.S., from early startup entities to publicly traded enterprises, helping them successfully navigate employment-related immigration matters and establish coherent immigration policies. She assisted many foreign nationals to obtain U.S. permanent residence in the Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Researcher, and National Interest Waiver categories. She conducted immigration education seminars, was a guest lecturer at Santa Clara University, and wrote articles for immigration publications. Among her peers, and was a respected voice in interpreting major legal and regulatory changes, and also served the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) in numerous official capacities.
